The many moods of Dowland, merry to melancholic, played by our local world-renowned lute maestro.
Paul O’Dette is one of the most influential figures in early music today, hailed by the Toronto Globe and Mail as “the clearest case of genius ever to touch his instrument.” A renowned lutenist, conductor, and scholar, he has made more than 155 recordings, earned two Grammys, and performs worldwide. O’Dette is Artistic Co-Director of the Boston Early Music Festival and Professor of Lute at the Eastman School of Music.
