An excursion to 17th century Venice to explore the stunning vocal music of Barbara Strozzi, her contemporaries, and her influences. Music of Strozzi, Monteverdi, Schütz, Grandi, Ferrari, and others who lived during this innovative period. pre-concert talk at 6:45pm

Saturday, February 23, 2019
It’s a musical party as we celebrate with 17th century music and dance from Spain and the New World, including Bolivia, Peru, and Mexico. pre-concert talk at 6:45pm

“The magical duo Bedlam” (Fanfare Magazine) is Kayleen Sanchez, soprano, and Laudon Schuett, lute. They will bring to life renaissance French and English lute songs. Sacred, secular, bawdy and tender! pre-concert talk at 6:45pm
